Colony Square last week launched a partnership with Fooda to bring "restaurant pop-ups" to the Midtown development.
Fooda will be available Monday through Friday in Colony Square’s atrium from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can find the pop-up option of the day by searching Fooda’s website here. The restaurant changes daily.
The partnership comes as North American Properties (NAP), Colony Square’s developer, prepares to break ground on the redevelopment this fall.
The first phase of the reimagined Colony Square will be delivered July 2018.
“We are redeveloping Colony Square to become a locally-inspired, arts-infused dining and entertainment destination that sparks with energy and provides the diversity of experiences Midtown craves,” Liz Gillespie, vice president of marketing at NAP, said in a press release.
“While the redevelopment is underway, we will curate culinary activations, pop up experiences and exciting events, including food trucks and our partnership with Fooda.”
Restaurants such as Smoque House BBQ will pop-up at Fooda and sell from customized menus at or below typical prices.
NAP is reimagining Colony Square’s two insular office towers and food court.
They are in the process of curating a merchandise mix of chef-driven eateries, boutique entertainment, fitness concepts and market-responsive retailers.
Part of that process means making way for new tenants.
